Here at Sam’s Steps Dance Centre we have two experienced Irish dance troupes, Irish Feet and Celtic Dynamic.  Both of our Irish dance troupes, as well as experienced jazz, tap and ballet dancers, are available for bookings such as festivals, special events and weddings. Our shows are very lively and energetic, with innovative choreography that is sure to please any audience. The Brantford Expositor described Celtic Dynamic as “one of the most popular performances” at the British Village this past July. Members of our companies have danced on CKCO television “News at Noon”, at The Brantford “Festival of Villages”, with various bands, and at numerous wedding receptions and many other special events.

Irish Feet- Our Jr. Company is under the direction of Samantha Paul. This company performs at smaller local venues. The show can be custom designed to fit different show lengths.

Celtic Dynamic- Our Sr. Company is also under the direction of Samantha Paul. This company performs at larger venues. The show may also be tailored to fit any show length.

Jazz, Tap, Ballet- SSDC has dancers in all forms that can also perform at small and large venues. 

Lectures- Sam’s Steps offers dance lectures in jazz, tap, ballet and Irish. Lectures can be tailor made to suit your event and can include history, folklore, anecdotal stories, demonstrations, etc. Sam’s Steps has previously lectured at such places as the University of Waterloo and at the historic McDougall Cottage in Cambridge.

Dance Workshops- Sam’s Steps offers interactive workshops in jazz, tap, ballet, and Irish. Sam’s Steps has given workshops in pre-school, grade school, and high school settings, as well as the university level, giving students a taste of dance through stretching, trying new steps and playing dance games to practise what they have learned. Sam’s Steps is also available to teach summer workshops at other studios.

Choreography- Our teachers at Sam’s Steps are highly experienced choreographers, choreographing for musicians, competition and dance shows. We are available to be contracted to create a dance especially for your concert or event. We can choreograph something for you using our dancers or using yours.
